Working through Camillus House, skilled professionals, generous donors, and committed volunteers come together to serve the hungry, the homeless, and other vulnerable people in our community. The generosity of those who support Camillus with their time, talent, and treasure, bless our neighbors in need; they also make South Florida a better, more caring place for all. Wise and careful stewardship of our donors’ generous donations is a top priority at Camillus; we use every gift to help the needy with utmost care. Letter to Donors
Dear Friend,
Camillus House exists only to serve our neighbors who are hungry, homeless, vulnerable, and in need. And Camillus House exists only because of compassionate people like YOU.
For more than sixty years, caring supporters have enabled us to shine a light of hope across our community. And when people willing to put their compassion into action come together, great things can happen.
Neighbors who are hungry will have food to eat. Those with no safe place to rest will have a roof over head. Those who are sick but can’t afford to see a doctor will receive medical care. Those looked at with scorn wherever they go will be received with kindness.
With your support, these acts of kindness through Camillus House will continue to multiply.
More will be helped, hope will grow, and the dream of reaching every person in need in our community – every person who is homeless, every child who is hungry, every individual in need of medical care — will be realized.
It’s an ambitious plan, but with big-hearted people behind us, all is possible.
