Serving More than 400 Residents and Guests

Camillus House celebrated its 58th annual Thanksgiving Day feast at its main campus in Miami’s Health District. More than 100 volunteers including Florida Lt. Governor Carlos López-Cantera, State Senator Lauren Book, City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, Miami-Dade Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Miami-Dade Homeless Trust Chair Ron Book, and City of Miami Director of Human Services Milton Vickers served a traditional Thanksgiving meal to more than 400 of Camillus House’s residential and day center clients.

    1. In response to our inquiry, yes we do provide meals for those experiencing homelessness that do not reside with us. This is true for Thanksgiving day as well as throughout the year.
