When the opportunity arose for Camillus House to generously receive more than 1,200 COVID-19 test kits from the Hope Mission Center, it was the beginning of a good story. But to have a powerful ending, the kits needed a way to be delivered. And thanks to teamwork, they were.
“This is how collaboration works,” said Miami-Dade County Commissioner for District 13 Senator René Garcia, who arranged the donation and delivery. He contacted Doug Bailey, long-time friend and Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Gopuff, the ‘go-to delivery solution for immediate, everyday needs,’ and the test kits were delivered.
As Senator Garcia said, “Gopuff is a good partner, and they are good to the community.” And we are thankful that he, the Hope Mission Center, Gopuff, our community partners and supporters, are very good to us too.
