Your Intentions/Prayer Requests

Luke's List

Luke's List is named in honor of Saint Luke, physician and writer of one of the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.

Our Lord Jesus Christ sent His humble servant — Brother Mathias Barrett, to tend to the needs of persons who are poor, sick and homeless in Miami.

Brother Mathias so loved the people of Miami that he established here Camillus House, a place of refuge and recovery. The seed planted by Brother Mathias has grown into a tree of great height and reach, covering all who seek its comfort and protection.

We invite all who are in need of our Lord's loving, healing and consoling power to submit their prayer intentions below.

[We reserve the right to edit and/or limit the text of your request, which will not be publicly visible until such time as it has been reviewed for content.]

Your intentions will be remembered in prayer before God in our Lord's name by the Brothers of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God.

May God bless you!

Please pray for my joints, skin and eyes, my whole body really, to heal. Thank you very much.

Please pray for me and my son, that we stay together and strong while we find a place and a new job, free or affordable health care and a car for us. Thank you.

To all our brothers and sisters in need of prayer. Please know that you are not alone. And, that despite of all the trials and hardships you are going through, and it seems like the end of the world, it is not. Jesus is by your side always and He will never abandoned you. Do not despair, you are already blessed. Praying for all of you.

I pray that God restores my relationship with my former boyfriend. He's truly an amazing man and I was the fool; selfish and on new medications. I panicked and was right where the devil wanted me and I gave in and I left. I need my life back; please Pray God restores my life!

I'm a pregnant, single mother of a 5-month-old. Just say a prayer for me.

I am a single mother living in a shelter with a three-year-old and another baby on the way. Praying for a decent home for them and a good paying job.

Praying. Praying. Praying.

I'm a single mother with a 4-year-old son and I'm expecting a baby in a few months. I've been living with family but it's uncomfortable in my condition to sleep on sofas and the floor. I feel myself giving up but I'm trying to hold it together. My heart is heavy and I just want my babies happy and comfortable and me being the best mother I know I can be.

Please pray for me as I have been suffering from moderate anxiety and depression since July. Please pray that I may overcome this battle and that I may slowly heal and be myself again without medication. Thank you and God bless you.

I've been suffering from demonic oppression and the only thing I want for Christmas is to be myself again. Please pray for freedom over a situation in which I was falsely accused without me going to jail too. Please pray for my family, fiancé and friends. Bless love you all!
