Bank of America Charitable Foundation has donated $25,000 to Camillus House to help provide food for its clients and guests. This generous gift will help to feed approximately 16,600 persons.
Camillus House provides more than 350,000 free meals each year to persons who are poor and homeless in Miami Dade County.
As a loyal supporter, Bank of America has contributed to Camillus House in numerous ways through their active involvement in volunteer activities. Employees routinely volunteer at Camillus' kitchen, participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day event and take part in beautification projects, as well as provide leadership on the Camillus House Board of Directors.
“We are truly grateful for the partnership with Bank of America,” said Paul R. Ahr, Ph.D., Camillus House President and CEO. “This long-standing relationship has continued to help persons who are homeless in our community through volunteerism and generous contributions.
