Matching Gifts

Many companies and institutions sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees.

Some even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. With matching gifts you may sometimes double or even triple your gift!

To participate in a Matching Gifts program, simply contact your Human Resources Department or the Camillus House Donations Department, 305.374.1065, ext. 219 to find out if your company has a matching gift program.

Then, complete an application and send it with your donation to:

Camillus House
Attn: Donations Department, MGP
P.O. Box 011829
Miami, FL 33101-1829

If Camillus House is not offered as a choice in your company’s matching gift program, please take the following information to your charitable gifts coordinator. Ask them to consider adding Camillus House as a charitable organization to receive matching funds.

They will need the following information:

    • Camillus House is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services to men, women and children who are poor and homeless in Miami-Dade County, Florida since 1960. Camillus House is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c)(3), tax id # 65-0032862. Camillus House provides a comprehensive continuum of care for poor and homeless persons through services that include emergency, transitional, and permanent housing; food, clothing, showers, outreach; substance abuse and mental health treatment; case management, rent assistance; work training and job development; and, health care services through its sister organization Camillus Health Concern.

    • Each service offered at Camillus is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being deserves love, respect and a chance to live a dignified life.
