Here’s What Our Volunteers are
Doing in the Community...
Camillus House is grateful to Saint Louis Catholic Church of Miami for its stellar participation in our successful Casserole Program, where members of the Miami community prepare meals for Camillus clients. Since 2006, Saint Louis has prepared nearly 67,000 meals for the homeless in our community. Pictured are June England and Cecilia Prahl. This year is the 50th anniversary of Saint Louis Catholic Church. Read more about our Casserole Program...

Sophie Barry, daughter of Miami Herald columnist Dave Barry and sportswriter Michelle Kaufman, will host monthly birthday parties for the children of our Camillus House families. During these celebrations the children will enjoy baked sweet treats, participate in activities, experience custom-made décor and receive personalized birthday gifts. According to Sophie, this charity project is inspired by her upcoming Bat Mitzvah and her never-ending love of birthday parties. Camillus House thanks you, Sophie!
