Requirements to Volunteer at Camillus House

Please read the information below before submitting
an application to volunteer at Camillus House.

Requirements to volunteer as an individual

1. Must be 14 years old for on-site volunteering and have an adult (18 years old) with you.

2. Attend our monthly orientation and submit your application in person.

3. If you are a “Heart” volunteer, we encourage you to at least volunteer 2 hours a month to stay active.

4. If you are performing Community Service hours, you will have the following time frame to complete your hours:

• 100 hours or less = 1 month
• 200 hours = 2 months
• 300 hours = 3 months

If you have multiple responsibilities and you need an extension, we will consider extending it  case by case.

Requirements to volunteer as a group

1. Must be 14 years old for on-site volunteering and have an adult (18 years old) with you.

2. For every 4 underage volunteers we need 1 adult.

3. Minimum 3 volunteers and 12 maximum to participate as a group.

4. Schedule a date in advance and submit group agreement to the Volunteer Department.
