Your Intentions/Prayer Requests

Luke's List

Luke's List is named in honor of Saint Luke, physician and writer of one of the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.

Our Lord Jesus Christ sent His humble servant — Brother Mathias Barrett, founder of the Congregation of the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd — to tend to the needs of persons who are poor, sick and homeless in Miami.

Brother Mathias so loved the people of Miami that he established here Camillus House, a place of refuge and recovery. The seed planted by Brother Mathias has grown into a tree of great height and reach, covering all who seek its comfort and protection.

We invite all who are in need of our Lord's loving, healing and consoling power to submit their prayer intentions below.

[Please note: we reserve the right to edit and/or limit the text of your request, which will not be publicly visible until such time as it has been reviewed for content.]

Your intentions will be remembered in prayer before God in our Lord's name by the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd.

May God bless you!

Pray that my home will be greatly blessed, consoled, graced by the Lord. Good home for extra animals. That I will always trust in God and Mary. Amen.

My Lord Abba Father has done great miracles in my life. Even went I kept on sinning, he kept on forgiving me. This is how much Jesus loves us.

Brother Bill, this Holy Week I want to thank all who are committed to helping us. I am very grateful for the services that you provide for non-residential clients; the meals, showers, clothing, mailroom and health services which I depend on. God bless you all and please keep me in your prayers.

Señor Padre de todos, ayuda mucho a las personas de Camillus a encontrar su felicidad, pido por mi hijo en especial que aunque no lo crea, lo amo y deseo para el un futuro mejor que el mío. Amen.

Please pray for me. I just got out of prison after serving 21 months. I had an address to go and live with my sister, but when they found out I am a registered sex offender I had to move out and I have been living on the streets of Miami for 3 weeks now. I don't know what to do anymore. For three weeks, I have looked for housing and a job and food to eat.

This day I have decided to make a donation to Camillus House. For every homeless person in Miami deserves a warm bed and food. Amen.

Please say a prayer for my brother, Gregory, who passed away on February 23rd. I would like to thank the Brothers of the Good Shepherd for all they have done for the non-residential clients who use the facility everyday for services, mail, showers, clothing, activities, library/computer access, phone access, hot meals etc. Please remember the Camillus House non-residential clients in your prayers as we will no longer have access after June 2017 to the services that we depend on.
