Chispa Restaurant Dinner & Auction Raises Funds For Homeless Individuals And Families Served By Camillus House

On Monday, March 21st, an excited crowd gathered at a sold out Chispa Restaurant in Downtown Coral Gables for Dinner to Benefit Camillus House. The festivities included an exquisite gourmet dinner created by renowned Chef Robbin Haas and a fabulous auction organized by the Event Chairs, Bob and Jodi Dickinson. The auction featured an exceptional selection of wines, cruises, and lifestyle items. The event, which is themed “Spark of Hope,” is designed to raise much-needed funds to help Camillus House address the most obvious aspect of homelessness: Providing individuals and families with a place to live.
Organizers raised over $233,000 from sponsorships, ticket sales and the ensuing auction. Among the incredible items auctioned were a stunning collection of vintage champagne, exceptional artwork donated by Fine Art Sales, and, an extraordinary Transatlantic cruise on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, which garnered the largest bid among the items auctioned.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the support of our board of directors, sponsors, volunteers, and our friends at Chispa Restaurant. We thank you all for helping Camillus House continue serving the poor and homeless of our community.
