Luke's List - Prayer Requests

Luke's List is named in honor of Saint Luke, physician and writer of one of the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles.

Our Lord Jesus Christ sent His humble servant — Brother Mathias Barrett, founder of the Congregation of the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd — to tend to the needs of persons who are poor, sick and homeless in Miami.

Brother Mathias so loved the people of Miami that he established here Camillus House, a place of refuge and recovery. The seed planted by Brother Mathias has grown into a tree of great height and reach, covering all who seek its comfort and protection.

We invite all who are in need of our Lord's loving, healing and consoling power to submit their prayer intentions below.

Your intentions will be remembered in prayer before God in our Lord's name by the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd.

May God bless you!

Your Intentions / Requests

Dear god and anyone who reads this, I humbly upon my knees pray and for all who read this Pray for my friend Adam, please pray for him that he may be welcomed and allowed to start a new lifeboat, Camillus House Temporary Housing, and there he can get off the street and be surrounded by people who will help him and he can learn to help himself, dear god I have prayed for 2 years that he would go to Camillus House to get help and you have finally answered my prayers, he is willing to go, I humbly again pray that now he has committed to going that you will have a place for him there and he can learn a new life and receive love. Dear god thank you for protecting him when he wanted to take his own life. Please god surround him with the wonderful people who work there and that they will teach him the skills he never learned to take care of himself and be a active part in this wonderful program you have there. Amen

May God Bless the world and may those souls that are lost, feel alone, abandoned or discouraged with no hope -find peace. Sometimes we are tested and we fall but I give you my word "keep getting up" accept the fact that you fell, regardless of who's fault, there is a lesson to be learned-LEARN THE LESSON-pray, meditate then LET GO AND LET GOD. Don't hold on to anger n hate..IT will consume you. We all have a purpose in this life, Slam shut the door of your past and OPEN THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE, which by the way is the present. Open your heart and know you are God's child..treat yourself with kindness and remember if you fall (like we all do) get back up and if help is what you need - seek it, for it is the wise that knows he/she doesn't have all the answers. I wish each and everyone much Love and Peace .

I humbly ask that anyone reading this will pray that God may create the right causes and conditions that would allow me to reconcile with Kathy as her friend. I promise to honor the relationship and to have unconditional love & compassion for her. Please pray as earnestly as you can for me that God may give me another chance. Thank you for reading this and thank you for praying for me. Amen
