Published Tuesday, September 11, 2012 9:00 am

We are proud to announce that Camillus House has been awarded its first Charity Navigator 4-star rating, the highest ranking bestowed to a non-profit organization for exceeding industry standards and outperforming other charities in America. As the recipient of a four-star rating out of four, Camillus House is acknowledged for sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability.

“On behalf of the Camillus organization, we are all very proud of our 4-star rating. We are deeply honored by the recognition of our work in serving those who are poor and homeless in Miami,” says Camillus House President Dr. Paul R. Ahr. "We strive to create a compassionate, caring atmosphere based on a system of care. Camillus House works to empower clients towards personal rehabilitation, and proactive integration as productive members of the general population."

Camillus House envisions our service to the poor and homeless as a continuum of care which empowers clients toward personal rehabilitation and proactive integration as productive members of the general population.
